Established in 1984 by Phillip Stokes, an experienced special effects supervisor and entrepreneur, Snowboy Systems Ltd (previously known as Enterprises Unlimited), has become recognised within the film and allied industries as designers of professional, realistic and reliable atmospheric effects. Based in the East Midlands just a few miles from Peterborough, Lincoln and Nottingham we are ideally situated to serve the whole of the UK quickly and cost effectively.
Snowboy Systems remain the leading manufacturer for snow effects with the now widely acclaimed range of SNOWboy falling snow machines. SNOWboy machines have been used to enhance many diverse productions, from corporate events to blockbuster movies, and from long running stage plays like "The Mouse Trap" to Dickensian Shopping Weekends.
Our large stock of snow machines are just a few of the many atmospheric effects available to hire. We are arguably the largest stockist and manufacturer of wind machines in the UK, ranging from our smallest 12" Electric Fan to our most powerful 60" Petrol Fan. We also supply a comprehensive range of atmospheric effects, such as Rain, Fire, Smoke, Explosions and Pyrotechnics as well as our very own BUBBLEboy bubble generator, Foam Generator and Aeromax Confetti Cannon.
Our comprehensive workshop contains every facility necessary to design, create and complete almost any project. We have a selection of specialist vehicles, specially designed to withstand the many diverse demands placed upon a Special Effects Unit, ranging from a 6 Tonne Mobile Snow Storm Truck to a complete Monsoon assembly.
